Carbon Kevlar, love it and hate it

I don’t really like working with Kevlar but every now and then I take on a carbon Kevlar order, just to remind me why. But I definitely really like the final product.

The main problem is cutting and sanding. Kevlar is really difficult to cut, which is a good thing in motor sports, doesn’t shatter, and you need to use good Kevlar shears. And sanding, if you sand into the Kevlar it leaves a fuzz of Kevlar on the surface. Wet sanding is definitely best but still not easy.
